Christ the Redeemer was awesome. It was cold, it was rainy, it was midnight, but it was worth it. It was so worth it.
Tonight is the Vigil. Because of rain damage, it was rescheduled from Guaratiba to Copacabana. Basically, pilgrims go for the Vigil and sleep overnight for Mass with the Pope in the morning.
Tomorrow morning, we start working at 6am. Since we live over by Christ the Redeemer and all public transportation by the beach is closed, we're having a volunteer sleepover at the media center!
Cristo Redentor era hermoso. Hacia frío, llovía, era media noche, peo si valía la pena. Si que valía la pena.
Esta noche es la vigilia. Por la lluvia, cambiaron la vigilia y misa de Guaratiba ha Copacabana. Lo esencial es que los peregrinos van a la vigilia y allí pasan la noche para amanecer a la misa con el Papa.
Mañana en la mañana, comenzamos a trabajar a las seis. Como vivimos por el Cristo Redentor y todo el transporte público a la playa está cerrada, las voluntarias van a pasar la noche en el centro de medios!
