I love nail polish. It's the one girly vice I allow myself. My face is always super minimal simply because 1) I wasn't born with the inherently female knowledge of makeup and 2) because sometimes a ton of makeup seems like a lie to the world, so I'd rather let the world see my face up front instead of leading them on and them having them believe they've just seen the Loch Ness Monster when my face gets washed off.
Anyway, back to nails. Mine have been starting to chip along the sides. It wasn't anything terribly noticeable, but enough to drive me crazy, yet at the same time, I wasn't particularly inspired to do anything totally crazy. Maybe next time. So for those days without inspiration but not wanting to be so bland as to have only one color, I pick two contrasting shades and feature one on the ring finger and as some sort of detailing to the thumb- in this case, spots. I'm also not a fan of pink, so this lets me use it in a small dose that doesn't make me feel like a Barbie. It's a nice color, just too loud for my own tastes. Plus, I simply don't like pink.

Amo el
barniz de uñas. Es el único vicio
femenino que me permito. Siempre tengo
Y pues simplemente, no me
fascina el color rosa.
